The 1973 series is unique with Scanlens releasing a duplicate set. The 1973 A & B sets are identical. All clubs have players in this 72 card release.  As with previous Scanlens releases the reverse is a jigsaw of the previous years Grand Final.. They were available in packets with a stick of bubble gum from milk bars, newsagents and similar outlets. The set boasts legends of the game including, Bartlett, Matthews, Hart, Doull and McKenna.
